Full Size Wood Fired Outdoor Oven and Charcoal Grill
Here's the thing about the Tagwood TAG02. It is a grill with a door, and it's the big one. Build a wood or charcoal fire in the bottom. Close the door. Now you have a 35-by-36-inch oven that sears like a steakhouse broiler and smokes like a pit. Open the door and it's a grill again. A whole lamb shoulder and the potatoes to go with it, in one load.
Argentine Charcoal Oven: What You Get
- Full-size chamber. 35" wide, 36" deep. Nearly a foot bigger than the TAG01 in both directions. Takes the extra-large 29.5" x 28.75" tray flat.
- Two cooking levels. Two racks of lamb low, right over the coals. Four chickens high, in gentler heat. Both at once.
- Airflow lever. One handle on the front controls the fire. Open it wide and a tomahawk gets a deep crust in 4 minutes. Close it down and a brisket smokes for 10 hours.
- Chimney with top vent. Smoke passes over the food and out the top. You get flavor, not soot.
- 90-degree front door. The door drops flat. Slide a full tray of empanadas in without burning a knuckle.
- Built-in thermometer. Read the heat without opening the door and losing it.
- Pull-out ash tray and grease tray. Cleanup is two drawers and a rinse.
- All 304 stainless steel. Inside and out. It does not rust, warp, or need paint.
How the Charcoal Oven Grill Works
Step 1. Light it. Drop two chimneys of lump charcoal or four splits of oak in the fire bed. Leave the door open five minutes.
Step 2. Close the door and set the lever. Wide open for high heat. Halfway for roasting. Nearly shut for smoking. Watch the thermometer settle.
Step 3. Cook. A whole pork shoulder on the low shelf. A full tray of vegetables on the high shelf catching the drippings. Pull them both, drop the door, and rest the meat on the warm oven top.
Step 4. Clean up. Pull the grease tray. Pull the ash tray. Done.
What to Cook in a Wood Burning Oven Grill
- Sear: A dozen ribeyes at once. Picanha, lamb chops, burgers for the block. Lever open, low shelf, 3 to 4 minutes a side.
- Roast: Whole lamb shoulder, two pork loins, four chickens, a sheet of root vegetables. Lever half open, high shelf.
- Smoke: Full packer brisket, two pork shoulders, three racks of ribs. Lever nearly shut, one split of wood each hour.
- Bake: Two pizzas side by side, focaccia, a full tray of empanadas. Lever open, XL oven tray on the high shelf.

The TAG02 is 304 stainless steel from the chimney cap to the feet. That's the steel used in restaurant kitchens and on boats. It lives outside all year. Rain, salt air, snow. Rinse it and it looks new.
The design is patented (US 2022/0240720 A1) and made in Argentina, where cooking over fire is the national sport.

30 Day Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of the date of purchase. If you wish to return an item, please contact our customer service department to receive an authorization number before shipping the item back to us. Return Shipping

To qualify for return shipping, items must be returned in the original packaging, and pallet, (if included) and within the continental US. Once your return is approved and processed, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Simply print the label and adhere to the package. Please ensure the returned item is packed securely to avoid damage during transit.
Remember, returns only apply to items returned in the original packaging. If an item is returned in non-original or damaged packaging, the customer may be responsible for any return shipping costs. In addition, freight shipping is scheduled for pick-up at a specific date and time, which is agreed upon by the customer. and customers must be there at the scheduled time. Missing scheduled freight time will result in a dry run fee which is issued by the shipping company.

Original Packaging Please keep all the original packaging for any items that need to be returned. Items that are not returned in their original packaging may not be accepted for return.
Non-Refundable Items that become damaged after use are non-refundable unless specified under warranty.

C. Damaged & Wrong Products & Issues
