View full detailsPGS is an American grill brand that builds grills for two very different buyers: homeowners who want a heavy stainless built-in grill, and property managers who need a grill that can stand up to a whole building of users. Here you'll find the PGS Legacy residential line, T-Series commercial grills with a FuelStop one-hour gas flow timer, A-Series cast aluminum post grills, the E27T electric grill and Modano BBQ islands. Every PGS gas grill comes in propane or natural gas. To compare PGS with other American brands, see our guide to made in USA grills.
Legacy is the PGS line for home outdoor kitchens and patios. All three sizes use 304 stainless steel housings and burners, ceramic Moon Rok briquettes that spread heat and cut flare-ups, Vari-Grid stainless grates with tighter spacing in the middle for shrimp and vegetables, and Sure Start continuous spark ignition.

Built-in heads shown at the same scale by grill width. The 51-inch photo is the T-Series S48T, which uses the Big Sur body.
Two 25,000 BTU burners (50,000 BTU total) over 540 square inches, plus a 200 square inch warming rack. The Newport built-in is $4,499, and the freestanding version on its cart is $7,698, or $7,889 with a rotisserie.
Three burners and 75,000 BTU for families who cook for a crowd. The Pacifica built-in is $5,699, and the freestanding Pacifica is $8,559 with or without a rotisserie.
Four 25,500 BTU burners over 960 square inches, with a 14,000 BTU infrared rotisserie burner and a rotisserie kit that handles up to 15 pounds. The Big Sur built-in is $8,143 and the freestanding version is $13,758.

T-Series commercial grills are built for shared properties: apartment complexes, HOA amenities, hotels, resorts and parks. Each model has three features that make it safe to leave out for residents:

The Newport, Pacifica and Big Sur bodies with the timer added. The S27T 30-inch built-in is $4,980 with two 22,500 BTU burners, and the line goes up to the 51-inch S48T. Choose built-in, freestanding or a pedestal.

Rust-resistant cast aluminum post grills with the same timer. The T40 on a 48-inch in-ground post has a 40,000 BTU stainless burner and 434 square inches, enough for about 20 burgers. The T30 is the 30,000 BTU size.
PGS also makes the ESTOP09 emergency gas shutoff with timer.

The A-Series is the residential version of the cast aluminum post grill, without the timer. The A40 has a 40,000 BTU stainless H-burner, 434 square inches plus a 178 square inch warming rack, Moon Rok briquettes and two stainless side shelves. The A30 is the 30,000 BTU size.
A-Series prices run from $1,559 for an A30 on an in-ground post to $2,455 for an A40 on a portable pedestal. Compare other brands in our post mount gas grills.

For condos and buildings where gas or open flame isn't allowed. The E27T runs on 240V (5,880 watts, 24.5 amps) with a NEMA 6-30 plug, reaches up to 500°F, cooks on 540 square inches of 304 stainless grates and has the same one-hour shutoff timer. Built-in $5,299, or $6,829 on a pedestal.

Ready-made islands with a welded extruded aluminum frame, a cast aluminum countertop, aluminum doors and removable drawers. The 57-inch island holds a 30-inch grill and the 67-inch island a 39-inch grill, each with a Legacy or T-Series head, from $10,379 to $13,519.
Finish a PGS outdoor grill with parts made to fit it:
Warranty in short: Legacy and A-Series grills used at home carry a lifetime warranty on the housings, cooking grids and warming rack, 10 years on carts, shelves, radiant shields and brass valves, 5 years on burners and 1 year on the ignitor. Grills used in commercial or multi-unit settings are covered for 90 days (Legacy and A-Series) or one year on parts (T-Series and E-Series). Labor is not included.
Yes. PGS is an American grill brand, and its grills are built in the USA.
Legacy grills are residential. T-Series grills use the same Newport, Pacifica and Big Sur stainless bodies, plus the cast aluminum T30 and T40, and add the FuelStop one-hour gas flow timer, anti-theft knobs and a laser-etched control panel for shared, commercial use.
A T-Series grill. Every T-Series model shuts the gas off after 60 minutes, and the knobs and instructions are made for unsupervised, shared use. Choose the T30 or T40 on an in-ground or bolt-down post for a patio, or a built-in S27T, S36T or S48T for an outdoor kitchen. If gas is not allowed, the E27T electric grill has the same one-hour timer.
The Big Sur includes a 14,000 BTU infrared rotisserie burner and kit. The Newport and Pacifica are sold with or without a rotisserie on the freestanding cart, and PGS sells standard and lighted rotisserie kits for all three sizes.
For residential use, Legacy grills carry a lifetime warranty on the stainless housings, cooking grids and warming rack, 10 years on carts, shelves, radiant shields and brass valves, 5 years on burners and 1 year on the ignitor. T-Series and E-Series grills used commercially have a one-year parts warranty. Labor is not included.
