TrueFlame's' new sharp-edge design breaks all known design barriers, creating a new type of sleek stainless look in your outdoor kitchen. Upon first glance, you will quickly notice the grill hood and its new age flat-top design, giving your outdoor kitchen a streamlined look with a smooth surface that gives a contemporary and sophisticated feel.

In the competitive world of grilling, many brands at this price tier opt for a classic rounded design, giving you than traditional barbecue look. TrueFlame, however, elevates the standard by offering a high-end appearance at an affordable price, distinguishing itself with a sophisticated design that defies expectations without straining your budget.

Our Test

Trueflame did an amazing job giving you the same overall main grilling space as the competitor's 32-inch and 40-inch model grills. When measuring the TrueFlame 32-Inch Gas Grills main grilling area dimensions when noticed that this grill provided 716 square inches of space while the competitor, the Blaze Premium LTE 32-Inch Gas Grill provides 715 square inches of main grilling space. what makes this design unique and special is how TrueFlame shaved 2 1/2 inches off the back of grill giving you a compact design without sacrificing any grilling space. This design is especially perfect for TrueFlame Built-in Gas Grill models where countertop depth can be tight.

TrueFlame Grills: Premium Commercial Grade Stainless Steel Quality

When looking into investing into a grill, one key factor to consider is stainless steel quality construction. TrueFlame Grills uses premium 304 stainless steel exterior and interior construction, giving you the perfect blend of superior outdoor durability and long-lasting sleek stainless steel finish.

304 stainless steel is comprised of a higher chromium and nickel content than other common steel grades, offering enhanced corrosion resistance and increased durability. Its composition allows it to form a passive protective layer that resists oxidation and rust, making it ideal for the high-heat and variable outdoor conditions that grills are exposed to. This resilience against wear and tear means grills made with 304 stainless steel maintain their appearance and functionality over time, far better than grills made with lower-quality steel.

TrueFlame Gas Grills: Cast Stainless Steel Burner Construction High BTU Performance

No grill purchase should overlook your grill burner system, the make or break factor in outdoor cooking results and versatility. We at BBQ Kitchen Pros didn't take long to notice a power gas firebox once we removed the cooking grates and flame tamers. At the heart of the TrueFlame Grills Series Gas Grill is commercial grade 304 cast stainless steel burners pushing 14,000 BTUs apiece for an exceptional all-around performance. We know BTUs aren't everything in grill performance, but TrueFlame Grills has an output that matches well with what you expect from top grills, and set the stage for this features loaded grill.

When it comes to burner construction, cast stainless steel burners are superior because their one-piece construction and denser material provide enhanced strength and better heat retention, making them more durable and efficient compared to typical stainless steel burners, which are often made from thinner, sheet metal and can be prone to warping and uneven heating.

Our Test

Using the TrueFlame Flame 32-Inch 4-Burner Grill, equipped with durable 304 cast stainless steel burners delivering 14,000 BTUs each, for a total of 56,000 BTUs, we observed impressive performance when we conducted high and low temperature test. When conducting high-temperature tests, setting all burners to a high for 20 minutes, the grill consistently maintained an average temperature of around 660°F. Switching to a low-temperature scenario, with all burners on low for 30 minutes, it stabilized at an average of 340°F.

These results highlight the grill's remarkable ability to quickly reach high temperatures, ideal for searing meats, while also capable of maintaining lower temperatures for slow cooking or smoking. This wide temperature range ensures that whether you're grilling steaks to perfection or slowly cooking ribs, the TrueFlame Flame can handle it with ease, making it a versatile choice for any BBQ enthusiast.

TrueFlame Gas Grills Cast Stainless Steel Burners

Solid 304 Stainless Steel Square Cooking Grates

We really like the square designed cooking grates that TrueFlame incorporated into their grill design.  This simple change in cooking grates not only provides a more even cooking because it increases the surface area on your food, but also tightens your cooking grate, leaving less room for food to drop that. As a result, you can cook smaller and more delicate dishes that round and triangular grate have a tendency to struggle with. In addition, TrueFlame provides stainless steel flame tamers providing burner protection and enhanced flavor, and prevents dangerous grease flare-ups.

Our Expertise

We find that square cooking grates are starting to take over luxury brands of grills because of their superior heat retention and increased surface contact, giving you less hot and cold spots on your grill, leading to evenly cooked BBQ even on your larger dishes. With this thick square design, we find it ideal for more pronounced sear marks and flavor enhancement when searing your favorite steak, porkchop, or even veggies.

After evaluating stainless steel flame tamer vs. ceramic briquettes over our vast grilling expertise, we have found some pros and cons to both set up. Stainless steel flame tamers, which is what TrueFlame equips their grills with, are durable and provide even heat distribution, but they can be prone to flare-ups and may not offer the same flavor enhancement as ceramic briquettes. Ceramic briquettes, on the other hand, are excellent for heat retention and creating a more even cooking surface, and they can help infuse food with a smoky flavor, but they are more fragile and require more maintenance than stainless steel options.

TrueFlame Grills: Balanced & Multi-Position Hood Hinge

TrueFlame Grills stand out with their Balanced & Multi-Position Hood Hinge, a unique feature in the world of grilling. Unlike typical grills that offer hoods with just open or shut options, TrueFlame innovates with a tension-supported hood. This design allows the hood to remain open at various angles, ensuring it won’t slam shut unexpectedly. This offers not only convenience but also safety, as you can freely access the grill’s interior without having to manually hold the hood. It’s particularly useful for multitasking chefs who need both hands free. Plus, the ability to partially open the hood gives you better control over airflow and temperature, crucial for precise cooking, especially with delicate or slow-cooked dishes. This thoughtful addition enhances the grill’s overall usability and enjoyment.

Our Test:

During our testing of the TrueFlame 32-Inch Gas Grill, we were particularly impressed with the hood's lightweight yet insulated feel. It stood out from competitors with its effortless opening and closing mechanism, acting like a brake that holds the hood exactly where you leave it. This feature allows for optimal airflow management and easier temperature control, making your grilling experience smoother and more efficient.

TrueFlame Gas Grills: Illuminated Knobs Indicate Burner Status & Interior Lighting

One glowing features of TrueFlame grills is their red LED lighting theme, which beautifully pairs with the stainless steel finish of their grills, side burners, doors, and drawers. Even on the TrueFlame 32-Inch Freestanding Gas Grill, really make your stainless steel cart shine at night. They take it a step further with LED lighting strategically placed behind the gas control knobs, staying lit to indicate active lit burners. The glow of the full-length red LED bar above the control panel transforms the outdoor cooking area into a professional, visually appealing space. Additionally, TrueFlame grills include dual interior halogen lighting, ensuring the entire grilling surface is well-lit, perfect for evening grilling sessions. These lights are easily operated from the front control panel, requiring only a standard 110V plug-in, making them more reliable than battery-powered alternatives.

Our Test

During our testing of the TrueFlame 32-Inch Series Freestanding Gas Grill, the red LED lighting truly stood out on the stainless steel grill cart below. The red LED knobs not only added a stylish accent to the grill's stainless steel finish but also provided a clear indication of each burner's status even when the full-length control panel was illuminated in conjunction with the burners. We were particularly impressed by how the lighting didn't require complex electrical setups – a simple 110V plug-in was all it needed. No batteries are needed for the grill's interior and exterior lighting is a nice feature ensuring you always have consistent power to your grills lighting and don't have worry about replacing batteries

The placement of the interior halogen lights was another highlight. TrueFlame Grills took into consideration the addition of the inset cooking tray located in the center of the warming rack when placing the interior halogen grills. The grilling lights are spread, making sure your grilling lights provide ample light to the entire grilling surface. Overall, the combination of functional and aesthetic lighting elevates TrueFlame grills above the standard of premium grills, adding both practicality and elegance to the grilling experience.

TrueFlame Grills: Heat Zone Separators For Optimal Temperature Control

Not only does TrueFlame continue to impress with the feature loaded grill series, it gives you heat zone separators for instant grilling versatility. Heat zone separators are a great addition to your medium to large sized grill allowing you to cook multiple dishes simultaneously. One feature that is standard on all TrueFlame Gas Grills models is an XL temperature located right on the double-lined grill hood.

Our Test

We tested the TrueFlame 32 inch Gas Grill to see the effectiveness of the heat zone separators. After testing the Heat Zone Separators on the TrueFlame 32 Inch Gas Grill, we were thoroughly impressed by their effectiveness. We seared a ribeye steak on one side at a high heat, achieving a perfect crust, while simultaneously grilling asparagus on a lower heat, preserving its crispness and flavor. In another zone, we gently cooked salmon fillets, achieving that tender, juicy texture without overcooking. The separators made it incredibly easy to manage these different foods, each requiring unique temperatures, all at the same time. One thing we like is the design of the TrueFlame Grills firebox, which is a proven and reliable fire box, giving you exceptional heat throughout every corner of the grill adding to your overall heat distribution across your entire grill or separate heat zone.

TrueFlame Inset Warming Rack Tray

TrueFlame Gas Grill: Stainless Steel Inset Warming Rack Tray

TrueFlame included a subtitle but game-changing feature giving you warming rack more versatility with a removable cooking tray. Don't be fooled by this added feature, it's more helpful than you think. This unique addition can be used to simmer your veggies or heat up your butter bath for your steak cooking below. This simple addition simply opens for more versatility, further expanding your grill capability.

Our Test:

This inset stainless stray is perfect for the bigger 32-inch and 40-inch models still having plenty of warming rack room for your traditional cooking tasks like toasting your burger buns or melting your cheese on your burger. We like how it allows you to cook some of your BBQ favorites in their natural juices without having to occupy your grilling space with a cast iron pan. In addition, we found that this stainless steel inset pan can reach high temperatures, so when grilling make sure you set your high temperature zones away from your stainless steel removable pan if you're cooking with it above.

Includes Built-In Rotisserie Backburners With TrueFlame 32-Inch & 40-Inch Gas Grills

At BBQ Kitchen Pros we love when your grill gives you versatile features that allow you to tack more than one type of cooking on your grill or outdoor cooking appliance. One of the best and most common built-in upgrades today among most grill brands is the infrared rotisserie back burner. TrueFlame provides a 10,000 BTU infrared backburner in both the TrueFlame 32-inch Gas Grill and TrueFlame 40-inch Gas Grill models, both freestanding grills and built-in grills. This instant versatility upgrade can change the dynamic of your outdoor cooking by roasting, convection cooking, and slow-cooking right on your grill.

Our Expertise

In todays grilling world typically a 10,000 BTU rotisserie backburner on a grill is considered the lower end of power output. However, it can still be effective for slow-cooking meats, where lower, consistent heat is ideal. The main limitation is that it may not be as efficient for larger cuts of meat or for quick searing, due to its lower heat output. On the plus side, a 10,000 BTU burner, especially if it's infrared, offers more controlled and even heating, which is great for gently cooking meats to retain moisture and flavor, reducing the chances of drying out or burning. Another thing to note is that you have to buy the TrueFlame Rotisserie Kits separately.

TrueFlame Gas Grills: Flame Thrower Ignition For Hassle-Free & Reliable Starts

Nothing beats the flame-thrower ignition in outdoor grilling, which is why the manufacturers of Trueflame didn't even second their decision when including this ignition system in their grills. Flame thrower ignitions are renowned for their reliability in the grilling industry. They function by releasing gas and creating a spark simultaneously when the knob is turned, igniting the burner immediately. This mechanical process requires no electricity, making them highly dependable and easy to use. Their lack of dependency on electrical components or batteries means there’s less that can go wrong, ensuring a consistent and reliable ignition every time.

TrueFlame Gas Grills takes this reliability further by incorporating a flash tube system with crossover channels as a secondary ignition method. This system involves a tube that allows a flame from an adjacent burner to light the gas, providing a safe and effective backup. The addition of a flash tube, along with cross-over channels, ensures that the grill lights up consistently, making it a fail-safe option for uninterrupted grilling sessions.

Our Expertise: Why We Choose Flame Thrower Ignitions

At BBQ Kitchen Pros, we prefer flame thrower ignitions over electric starting grills due to their hassle-free nature. The absence of batteries or electric connections removes a common point of failure found in electronic ignitions. We appreciate the added peace of mind provided by the backup flash tube with cross-over channels. This feature ensures that even if one ignition system fails, the grill remains operational, guaranteeing that your backyard BBQ goes on without a hitch. It’s this combination of reliability and practicality that makes flame thrower ignitions our go-to choice in grill technology.

TrueFlame Grills Gold Standard Warranty

TrueFlame Gas Grills: Best in Class Warranty

When looking at the grilling industry as a whole, there are very few brands that give you a lifetime warranty on three stainless steel. Most provide a 10 to 15 year warranty, but TrueFlame stands by its premium brand with a Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty on all stainless steel components. In addition, TrueFlame gives you a 3 year electrical warranty, which blows away most premium grill brands with 1 or less electrical warranties.
