What this bundle actually is

This is the Zephyr Presrv outdoor kegerator cabinet, model PRKB24C01AS-OD, paired with Zephyr's PRKFK-03SSC triple tap kit. Buying them together is how you get a working draft system in one order instead of two — and it is the same price as buying the pieces separately, so there is no penalty for the convenience.

How the price is built: kegerator at $2,299 plus the PRKFK-03SSC tap kit at $849 equals $3,148. At list, $2,499 plus $849 equals $3,348. Everything you need except the kegs and the CO2 fill is in the box.

Why Triple Tap Instead of the Other Configurations

1. Three beers on tap simultaneously. This is a genuine home bar configuration — a light, a dark, and something seasonal, all live at once.
2. Three sixth barrels. Configuration 4 fits three sixth barrel kegs in the cabinet. At 5.16 gallons each that is roughly 165 pints total across three different beers.
3. Three complete, independent gas paths. Three beer lines, three gas lines, and three D-style keg couplers off one regulator and CO2 tank.
4. The tower is physically larger. Zephyr specs the triple tower at a 16-5/8" reference dimension versus 15-1/2" for the single and double. If you are coring a countertop, confirm the dimension against the triple tap kit spec rather than the single.
5. The trade-offs, stated honestly. This is the most expensive configuration by $300 over single tap. Per Zephyr, a triple tower prevents installation of the glass shelving, so beverage cooler mode is off the table. No half barrels — sixth barrels only. And three kegs mean three sets of lines to clean, which is real recurring maintenance rather than a one-time setup.

The cabinet: what you are pouring from

The Presrv outdoor kegerator is a 6 cu. ft. cabinet in 304-grade stainless steel, rated for outdoor and indoor installation, running 32° to 65°F on PreciseTemp™ multi-sensor control with Active Cooling Technology. It is ENERGY STAR® certified and runs at 42 dBA.

The feature that matters most for draft is the beer line cooling system. Zephyr blows cool air onto the beer line itself, which is the difference between a clean first pour and a glass of foam after the system has sat idle. Warm line is the single most common complaint about home kegerators, and it is an engineering problem rather than a technique problem. With three lines running to a taller tower, that cooling matters more here than in any other configuration.

A built-in installation kit is included — threaded countertop flange, adjustable insulation tube and gasket — which is what makes a through-countertop tower installation clean and insulated. Zephyr states this is the first kegerator to ship with that hardware as standard. The door locks, the hinge is field reversible, and a door open alarm sounds after three minutes.

One honest note on ambient rating: this cabinet is rated to 109°F, lower than the 115°F on Zephyr's other outdoor Presrv models. In most climates that is academic. In desert heat in full afternoon sun, it is worth designing around with shade or orientation.

The PRKFK-03SSC Triple Tap Kit

The tap kit is the complete draft side of the system:

The tower is stainless steel to match the cabinet, and the regulator is a dual-gauge unit — one gauge reads tank pressure so you know when CO2 is running low, the other reads output pressure so you can dial in carbonation. Zephyr's tap manual walks through regulator calibration and leak-checking, and both steps are worth doing properly before the first pour.

The CO2 tank ships empty. This is standard for the industry — shipping pressurized cylinders is restricted — so budget a trip to a gas supplier, welding shop, or homebrew store for the first fill. With three kegs drawing off one tank, expect to refill more often than a single tap setup.

Installation

1. Confirm the cabinet opening. 23-7/8" W x 33-7/8" H x 23-1/2" D, adjustable 33-7/8" to 34-7/8" on leveling legs.
2. Plan the tower penetration before cutting stone. Overall height with the tower installed is 50-3/32" to 51-3/32". Use the PRKFK-03SSC tower dimensions when you size the core — the triple tower carries a 16-5/8" reference dimension rather than the 15-1/2" of the single and double kits. Coring granite, quartz or tile is fabricator work — hire it out.
3. Provide power. Standard 115/120V AC grounded outlet, 1.5A maximum, GFCI-protected and weather-rated. Licensed electrician work if the circuit is new.
4. Keep the front vent clear and allow 2-1/4" minimum rear clearance.
5. Set the door swing before installation — the hinge is field reversible and this is far easier with the cabinet out of the opening.
6. Level the cabinet in both axes, then let it stand upright four hours before first power-on.
7. Fit the tower and run all three sets of lines per the tap kit manual, seating the flange and insulation tube in the countertop core.
8. Fill the CO2 tank, calibrate the regulator, and leak-check every connection before you tap a keg. Zephyr's tap manual gives the procedure and the target pressures.

What you should plan to hire out: the electrical circuit, the countertop core for the tower, and any masonry. The CO2 fill requires a gas supplier. At 110 lbs plus the kit, the cabinet is a two-person lift.

Warranty

Zephyr backs the Presrv™ line with two years of parts coverage, two years of labor coverage, and five years on the sealed compressor. That labor term is the part worth reading twice. Plenty of premium refrigeration carries two years on parts but only one year on labor, which means that in year two you are paying a technician's call-out and hourly rate to install a part the manufacturer sends free. Zephyr covers both for the full two years. The five-year compressor term covers the single most expensive component in the cabinet.

Two conditions matter for outdoor installations. Coverage assumes the unit is operated inside its rated ambient range, and it assumes installation follows the clearance and venting requirements in the manual. Running an outdoor-rated cabinet below its minimum ambient temperature, or burying a front-vented unit in a sealed enclosure, are the two most common ways owners create a problem the warranty will not cover. Both are avoidable at the design stage.

The tap kit is covered under Zephyr's accessory warranty terms rather than the appliance terms above. Beer lines, washers and seals are wear items in any draft system and are not covered as defects — budget on replacing lines periodically as normal maintenance. With three lines running, that maintenance cycle comes around three times as often.
