The 90" Bayside is the island that finally closes the loop: a Jupiter Classic 32-inch grill on the right, a Jupiter outdoor refrigerator built into the run, and enough counter between them to actually work.

That refrigerator is the difference. Drinks, marinades, prepped trays, and cold sides live outside, at arm's reach. Nobody walks back through the kitchen door mid-cook. Nobody hauls a cooler onto the patio and drains melted ice at the end of the night. The party stays where you built it.

It arrives fully assembled — cabinets, countertop, grill, and refrigerator. No flat-pack, no cabinet building, no separate countertop fabricator, and no wondering whether the appliances will fit their cutouts.

Most outdoor kitchens fail for one boring reason: they were built from materials meant to live indoors. Wood swells and rots. Particleboard turns to pulp. Powder-coated steel chips, and once it chips it rusts from the inside out.

WeatherStrong cabinets are built from marine-grade HDPE — the same family of material used for dock hardware and boat interiors. It doesn't absorb water, so it can't swell or rot. The color runs all the way through the material, not sprayed on top, so a scratch or scuff never exposes a different color underneath. Rain, pool splash-out, salt air, freeze-thaw, and 100-degree afternoons don't degrade it. You clean it with soap and water.

Choose Miami, a flat slab door with a smooth surface and clean lines for a modern look, or Sanibel, a framed recessed-panel door with more traditional shadow-line detail.

Then choose your finish: Shell White, Shoreline Gray, Sapphire Blue, Pitch Black, Teak, or Dark Ash. Every finish resists fading and rust staining, so the island you install is the island you'll still be looking at in ten years.

3. The WeatherTop™ Countertop Is Built for Outside

Natural stone outdoors is a maintenance project. Granite needs resealing. Marble etches when lemon juice or wine sits on it. Concrete stains and cracks in freeze-thaw.

The WeatherTop™ countertop is engineered for outdoor use instead — non-porous, UV-stable, and freeze-thaw rated. No sealing, no fading in direct sun, and spills wipe off instead of soaking in. With a grill and a refrigerator both built in, the remaining cabinetry has to earn its space. On the Bayside:

• Full-width double-door cabinet beneath the grill — one large uninterrupted space for tools, cleaning supplies, and platters.
• Dedicated propane cabinet with a pull-out tank tray on smooth slides, so you're not wrestling a 20 lb cylinder out of a dark cabinet at an awkward angle.
• Refrigerator base — the fridge is fully integrated into the run rather than wedged in, with proper ventilation clearance built into the cabinet.
• Louvered stainless side vents throughout — required ventilation for cabinets housing a gas cylinder and a compressor, not an afterthought.

5. Hardware You'll Feel Every Single Day

Hinges and slides are where cheap outdoor cabinets give themselves away. Within two seasons the doors sag, catch on the frame, or slam in the wind, and pull-outs start to bind.

The Bayside runs on stainless steel soft-close hinges and full-extension slides. Full extension means the propane tray comes all the way out — which is the entire point when you're swapping a cylinder. Soft-close does more than feel expensive: it eliminates the slam. Every hard closing impact is a shock load on the slide, the hinge, and the cabinet face, and repeated shock is what eventually knocks a door out of alignment or wears a slide loose. By catching the door and easing it through the last inch, the soft-close mechanism removes that impact entirely. That smooth, controlled movement is exactly what preserves slide and hinge life — and why everything still lines up years in. All slides, hinges, handles, and fasteners are stainless, so nothing streaks rust down your cabinet fronts.

Jupiter Outdoor Refrigerator

This is an outdoor-rated refrigerator, and that distinction matters more than most buyers realize. An indoor bar fridge dropped into an outdoor island will fail — its compressor isn't specified for the ambient temperature swings of a patio, and its cabinet isn't sealed against humidity and insects. Warranty claims get denied for exactly this.

Installation — What Actually Happens on Delivery Day

Your cabinets arrive pre-assembled from the factory. You are not building cabinetry. Plan on two people and an afternoon.

1. Position the island. Set the assembled cabinets where they will live. You need a solid, reasonably flat base — concrete, pavers, or a rated deck.
2. Join the sections together. The Bayside is a multi-cabinet run: the grill base, refrigerator base, and propane cabinet are bolted together through the cabinet sides so the run behaves as one unit and the countertop seats flat.
3. Level it on the stainless legs. Every cabinet stands on adjustable stainless steel leveling legs. Thread them up or down to bring the run dead level across a sloped patio — most patios are poured with drainage fall, so expect to use them. The legs also hold the cabinet bases off the ground so standing water never sits against them. Level matters more here than on any other island in the range: a refrigerator sitting out of level runs harder and drains poorly, so check across the full 90.5".
4. Install the toe kicks. WeatherStrong includes toe kicks for the front, sides, and rear — not just the front. That's what lets the island sit out in the middle of a patio and look finished from every angle instead of exposing legs and hardware from behind.
5. Set the countertop and install the appliances. The WeatherTop countertop is set and secured, then the Jupiter grill drops into its cutout with the insulating jacket, and the refrigerator slides into its base.
6. Connect gas and power. The grill ships configured for propane; a natural gas conversion kit is included. The refrigerator needs a GFCI-protected 110V outlet. Have all gas connections completed by a licensed professional and follow your local building, gas, electrical, and venting codes.

Before you order: measure your finished space and your delivery path. At 90.5" wide this is one of the longest islands in the range — gates, stairs, and narrow side yards are the most common delivery problem.

What the 25-Year Cabinet Warranty Means

WeatherStrong warrants the HDPE cabinet boxes, doors, and exterior against defects in materials and workmanship for 25 years to the original purchaser in residential use. That is a long horizon for outdoor cabinetry, and it exists because the material genuinely does not rot or corrode.

The countertop and refrigerator carry 1-year limited coverage — sealed refrigeration systems are warranted separately across the industry. Coverage requires proof of purchase from an authorized dealer. Damage from improper installation, unlevel setting, abrasive cleaners, or commercial use is excluded. Warranties are non-transferable.
