Most outdoor kitchen islands make you buy a grill you may not need. The 74" Lagoon doesn't. It is 6 feet of pure counter space and storage, designed for two kinds of people: those who already own a grill they love, and those who want the prep, serving, and storage half of an outdoor kitchen without the cooking hardware.
Pair it beside your existing built-in. Run it as a serving and bar station across the patio. Use it as the prep counter that finally gets the cutting boards, tools, and platters out of the house. At 74.5" wide with an uninterrupted countertop — no grill cutout breaking it up — you get more usable working surface here than on any island in the range.
And because there's no gas appliance, there's no gas line, no licensed gas fitter, and no permit conversation. You set it, level it, and use it the same afternoon.
Why WeatherStrong Instead of a Traditional Outdoor Cabinet
1. It Will Not Rot, Rust, Swell, or Delaminate
Most outdoor cabinetry fails for one boring reason: it was built from materials meant to live indoors. Wood swells and rots. Particleboard turns to pulp. Powder-coated steel chips, and once it chips it rusts from the inside out.
WeatherStrong cabinets are built from marine-grade HDPE — the same family of material used for dock hardware and boat interiors. It doesn't absorb water, so it can't swell or rot. The color runs all the way through the material, not sprayed on top, so a scratch or scuff never exposes a different color underneath. Rain, pool splash-out, salt air, freeze-thaw, and 100-degree afternoons don't degrade it. You clean it with soap and water.
2. Six Finishes and Two Door Styles — Chosen by You
Choose Miami, a flat slab door with a smooth surface and clean lines for a modern look, or Sanibel, a framed recessed-panel door with more traditional shadow-line detail.
Then choose your finish: Shell White, Shoreline Gray, Sapphire Blue, Pitch Black, Teak, or Dark Ash. Every finish resists fading and rust staining. If you're matching an existing WeatherStrong island or grill cabinet, the finishes are identical across the line.
3. The WeatherTop™ Countertop Is Built for Outside
Natural stone outdoors is a maintenance project. Granite needs resealing. Marble etches when lemon juice or wine sits on it. Concrete stains and cracks in freeze-thaw.
The WeatherTop™ countertop is engineered for outdoor use instead — non-porous, UV-stable, and freeze-thaw rated. No sealing, no fading in direct sun, and spills wipe off instead of soaking in. On the Lagoon it runs the full 74.5" uninterrupted, which is what makes this the best prep surface in the collection. WeatherTop is offered in two colors: Glacier Frost, a bright white with soft veining that reflects heat and keeps the surface cooler in afternoon sun, and Midnight Ice, a deep charcoal that hides everyday use. This island ships with Glacier Frost.
4. Storage That Actually Organizes — and You Choose the Left Cabinet
This is the island in the range built specifically around storage. You get three distinct zones:
- A three-drawer stack — graduated depths on full-extension stainless slides. This is where tongs, thermometers, skewers, and towels finally stop living in a plastic tub.
- A double-door cabinet with adjustable shelving — one large uninterrupted space for platters, bulk supplies, and anything tall.

A single-door cabinet, and you pick what it does:
- 2-Drawer Single Door — two roll-out trays behind a door. You get drawer-style access to everything at the back without the drawer fronts breaking up the clean cabinet face. Best for organizing bulk supplies and smaller items you want reachable.
- Trash Bin Single Door — a pull-out bin that keeps trimmings, packaging, and paper plates contained and out of sight. Best if the Lagoon is your prep and cleanup station.
5. Hardware You'll Feel Every Single Day
On an island this drawer-heavy, the slides matter more than anything else. Cheap outdoor drawers bind, sag, and drop out of alignment within two seasons, and cheap hinges let doors slam in the wind.
The Lagoon runs on stainless steel full-extension slides and soft-close hinges. Full extension means the drawer comes all the way out — you can reach the back without digging blind. Soft-close does more than feel expensive: it eliminates the slam. Every hard closing impact is a shock load on the slide, the hinge, and the cabinet face, and repeated shock is what eventually knocks a drawer out of square or wears a slide loose. By catching the drawer and easing it through the last inch, the soft-close mechanism removes that impact entirely. That smooth, controlled movement is exactly what preserves slide and hinge life — and why everything still lines up years in. All slides, hinges, handles, and fasteners are stainless, so nothing streaks rust down your cabinet fronts.

No grill or appliances are included with the Lagoon — that's the point. If you'd like us to pair it with a Jupiter grill cabinet or spec a full run, call us and we'll design it.
Installation — What Actually Happens on Delivery Day
Your cabinets arrive pre-assembled from the factory. You are not building cabinetry. With no gas appliance to connect, this is the simplest install in the WeatherStrong range. Plan on two people and an afternoon.
- Position the island. Set the assembled cabinets where they will live. You need a solid, reasonably flat base — concrete, pavers, or a rated deck.
- Join the sections together. The Lagoon is a multi-cabinet run: the cabinets are bolted together through the cabinet sides so the run behaves as one unit and the countertop seats flat.
- Level it on the stainless legs. Every cabinet stands on adjustable stainless steel leveling legs. Thread them up or down to bring the run dead level across a sloped patio — most patios are poured with drainage fall, so expect to use them. The legs also hold the cabinet bases off the ground so standing water never sits against them. Level matters more here than on a compact island: drawers only glide properly in a cabinet that's sitting true, so check across the full 74.5", not just at the ends.
- Install the toe kicks. WeatherStrong includes toe kicks for the front, sides, and rear — not just the front. That's what lets the island sit out in the middle of a patio and look finished from every angle instead of exposing legs and hardware from behind.
- Set the countertop. The WeatherTop countertop is set and secured across the joined cabinets.
- That's it — no gas, no permits, no licensed trades. Load the drawers and use it.
Before you order: measure your finished space and your delivery path. At 74.5" wide, gates, stairs, and narrow side yards are the most common delivery problem with an assembled island.

What the 25-Year Cabinet Warranty Means
WeatherStrong warrants the HDPE cabinet boxes, doors, drawer fronts, and exterior against defects in materials and workmanship for 25 years to the original purchaser in residential use. That is a long horizon for outdoor cabinetry, and it exists because the material genuinely does not rot or corrode.
Coverage requires proof of purchase from an authorized dealer. Damage from improper installation, unlevel setting, abrasive cleaners, or commercial use is excluded. Warranties are non-transferable.

Freight Shipment Specifics
The majority of freight items are shipped on pallets. Some delivery companies will reach out to fix a delivery slot, whereas others aim to drop off your order at the most accessible spot nearest to your home, preferably close to a garage. The shipping confirmation email will detail the specific delivery procedures to anticipate.
For Scheduled Delivery
Companies that arrange delivery slots necessitate your presence for the delivery and your signature for confirmation. Deliveries are made using a semi-truck with lift gate service, placing the shipment by the curb. Should you grant permission for the delivery to be left unsupervised, BBQ Kitchen Pros cannot assume responsibility for any ensuing damages. For Non-Scheduled Deliveries
Delivery services that don't operate on appointments don't mandate your presence or a scheduled delivery slot. There's also no signature required upon receipt. Without the hassle of scheduling or waiting around, let the delivery come to you. If you're home during the drop-off, the driver can be asked to place your items in the garage. If you're away, they'll position it close to the garage or main entry.
Dispatch Timeframe

Change of Address

Parcels Damaged in Transit

30 Day Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of the date of purchase. If you wish to return an item, please contact our customer service department to receive an authorization number before shipping the item back to us. Please note that items returned without an authorization number will not be accepted. Items must be returned in new condition.
Return Shipping
We stand behind our products and want you to be satisfied with them. In the case that you decide to return your purchase, we will gladly refund you for the product in its entirety minus the cost of shipping and return shipping incurred by BBQ Kitchen Pros.
To qualify for return shipping, items must be returned in the original packaging, and pallet, (if included) and within the continental US. Once your return is approved and processed, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Simply print the label and adhere to the package. Please ensure the returned item is packed securely to avoid damage during transit.
Remember, returns only apply to items returned in the original packaging. If an item is returned in non-original or damaged packaging, the customer may be responsible for any return shipping costs. In addition, freight shipping is scheduled for pick-up at a specific date and time, which is agreed upon by the customer. and customers must be there at the scheduled time. Missing scheduled freight time will result in a dry run fee which is issued by the shipping company.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please make a note of it immediately when signing for delivery and send photos to support@bbqkitchenpros.com on the day of delivery.
Original Packaging Please keep all the original packaging for any items that need to be returned. Items that are not returned in their original packaging may not be accepted for return.
Non-Refundable Items that become damaged after use are non-refundable unless specified under warranty.

A. 30 Day Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. Items must be returned in new condition. You’ll also need a receipt or proof of purchase.
B. Easy Return Process

Once your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

C. Damaged & Wrong Products & Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately within 24 hours if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. To return your product, you should contact our mail. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
D. Exchanges

E. No Re-stocking Fees
For our products, there is no Restocking Fee.
