Island Duct Cover (Not Included)
A matching island duct cover is required to conceal the duct run from the top of the canopy to the ceiling. Vent-A-Hood offers standard sizes for 8', 9', and 10' ceilings, and custom sizes for non-standard heights. Contact us before ordering to confirm the correct duct cover for your ceiling height.
Installer / Contractor Responsibility
Ductwork & Electrical — Not Included
Island installation requires ceiling-routed ductwork and a dedicated 115V circuit completed by a licensed contractor prior to installation. For covered outdoor patio installations, a GFCI-protected branch circuit is required. Minimum ceiling height: 7' (84"). Maximum: 10' (120").

Island Hood Installation — What to Know Before You Buy

Ceiling Structural Support
Island hoods hang from ceiling joists or blocking above the island. Confirm the ceiling structure can support the hood weight at the island location and install blocking before the hood arrives.

Ceiling Duct Penetration
A duct penetration through the ceiling must be cut, lined, and routed to the exterior or attic before the hood is installed. Plan the full duct path before installation day.

Dedicated Electrical Circuit
A 115V dedicated electrical circuit roughed in at the ceiling above the island is required before the hood is hung. Must be completed by a licensed electrician.

For Scheduled Delivery
Companies that arrange delivery slots necessitate your presence for the delivery and your signature for confirmation. Deliveries are made using a semi-truck with lift gate service, placing the shipment by the curb. Should you grant permission for the delivery to be left unsupervised, BBQ Kitchen Pros cannot assume responsibility for any ensuing damages. For Non-Scheduled Deliveries

If you're away, they'll position it close to the garage or main entry.

30 Day Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of the date of purchase. If you wish to return an item, please contact our customer service department to receive an authorization number before shipping the item back to us. Please note that items returned without an authorization number will not be accepted. Items must be returned in new condition.
Return Shipping
We stand behind our products and want you to be satisfied with them. In the case that you decide to return your purchase, we will gladly refund you for the product in its entirety minus the cost of shipping and return shipping incurred by BBQ Kitchen Pros.
To qualify for return shipping, items must be returned in the original packaging, and pallet, (if included) and within the continental US. Once your return is approved and processed, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Simply print the label and adhere to the package. Please ensure the returned item is packed securely to avoid damage during transit.
Remember, returns only apply to items returned in the original packaging. If an item is returned in non-original or damaged packaging, the customer may be responsible for any return shipping costs. In addition, freight shipping is scheduled for pick-up at a specific date and time, which is agreed upon by the customer. and customers must be there at the scheduled time. Missing scheduled freight time will result in a dry run fee which is issued by the shipping company.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please make a note of it immediately when signing for delivery and send photos to support@bbqkitchenpros.com on the day of delivery.
Original Packaging Please keep all the original packaging for any items that need to be returned. Items that are not returned in their original packaging may not be accepted for return.
Non-Refundable Items that become damaged after use are non-refundable unless specified under warranty.

A. 30 Day Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. Items must be returned in new condition. You’ll also need a receipt or proof of purchase.
B. Easy Return Process

Once your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

C. Damaged & Wrong Products & Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately within 24 hours if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. To return your product, you should contact our mail. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
D. Exchanges
