The Vent-A-Hood JDIH236/C1 is a 36-inch island-mounted range hood from the Premier Magic LungĀ® Designer Series ā Vent-A-Hood's most premium island collection. The JDIH/C1 features a concave body with tapered clipped corners and an offset lip ā a form where the canopy curves inward rather than outward, creating a graceful, inward-flowing silhouette with precisely chamfered and tapered corners and a deliberately asymmetric bottom edge. Where the JCIH/C1 bows outward for bold volumetric presence, the JDIH/C1 draws inward ā creating a crown-like crown effect above the island that feels refined and architectural rather than assertive. The JDIH/C1 is the counterpart to the JCIH/C1 in Vent-A-Hood's Designer Series ā sharing the same tapered clipped corner geometry and offset lip detail, but with an inward-curving concave body rather than an outward-bowing convex one. The result is a hood with an entirely different visual character: where the convex JCIH/C1 pushes presence into the room, the concave JDIH/C1 recedes elegantly ā drawing the eye inward to the canopy and creating a crown-like effect above the island that feels architecturally refined and understated in its confidence.
Concave Body

The body of the JDIH/C1 curves inward ā concave ā meaning the face of the canopy recedes from the room rather than projecting toward it. Island installation requires ceiling-routed ductwork and a dedicated 115V circuit by a licensed contractor. Standard 6" round or 3Ā¼" Ć 10" rectangular ductwork is typical at this CFM level. Outdoor patio installations require a GFCI-protected circuit.

30 Day Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of the date of purchase. If you wish to return an item, please contact our customer service department to receive an authorization number before shipping the item back to us. Please note that items returned without an authorization number will not be accepted. Items must be returned in new condition.
Return Shipping
We stand behind our products and want you to be satisfied with them. In the case that you decide to return your purchase, we will gladly refund you for the product in its entirety minus the cost of shipping and return shipping incurred by BBQ Kitchen Pros.
To qualify for return shipping, items must be returned in the original packaging, and pallet, (if included) and within the continental US. Once your return is approved and processed, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Simply print the label and adhere to the package. Please ensure the returned item is packed securely to avoid damage during transit.
Remember, returns only apply to items returned in the original packaging. If an item is returned in non-original or damaged packaging, the customer may be responsible for any return shipping costs. In addition, freight shipping is scheduled for pick-up at a specific date and time, which is agreed upon by the customer. and customers must be there at the scheduled time. Missing scheduled freight time will result in a dry run fee which is issued by the shipping company.
Damaged Items

Original Packaging Please keep all the original packaging for any items that need to be returned. Items that are not returned in their original packaging may not be accepted for return.

A. 30 Day Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. Items must be returned in new condition. You’ll also need a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

C. Damaged & Wrong Products & Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately within 24 hours if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. To return your product, you should contact our mail. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
