The Messermeister Oliva Elite 9" Scalloped Bread Knife has a long serrated edge with rounded scallops that saw through crusty sourdough without tearing or smashing the crumb. The length handles wide boules and layer cakes in a single stroke.
It is just as useful on tomatoes, citrus and cakes. The blade is German 1.4116 stainless steel at 58 HRC with a hand-finished olive wood handle. Messermeister lists this knife as not ambidextrous.

Care and Maintenance

Messermeister Knife for Life Warranty
Messermeister covers its knives with the Knife for Life warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Report a manufacturing defect to Messermeister within 10 days of receipt and before first use. Knives bought from an authorized dealer must be registered with Messermeister within 10 days of purchase to activate coverage, and the warranty is non-transferable. It does not cover normal wear, misuse, improper care or storage, or product modifications. After first use, contact Messermeister about bent tips, wood handle damage, rust or dull blades.
Manufacturer Information
Messermeister was founded in 1981 by Bernd and Debra Dressler and moved its headquarters to Ojai, California in 1986. The name means āknife masterā in German. Today the family company is women-owned and run by second-generation sisters Chelcea and Kirsten Dressler, who design in California and manufacture in Germany, Portugal, Italy, Japan and Asia. Messermeister introduced polished 15-degree edges on German-style knives in 1992 and has supplied Le Cordon Bleu culinary schools. Oliva Elite knives are handcrafted in Solingen, Germany.

For Non-Scheduled Deliveries

If you're away, they'll position it close to the garage or main entry.

30 Day Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of the date of purchase. If you wish to return an item, please contact our customer service department to receive an authorization number before shipping the item back to us. Please note that items returned without an authorization number will not be accepted. Items must be returned in new condition.
Return Shipping
We stand behind our products and want you to be satisfied with them. In the case that you decide to return your purchase, we will gladly refund you for the product in its entirety minus the cost of shipping and return shipping incurred by BBQ Kitchen Pros.
To qualify for return shipping, items must be returned in the original packaging, and pallet, (if included) and within the continental US. Once your return is approved and processed, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Simply print the label and adhere to the package. Please ensure the returned item is packed securely to avoid damage during transit.
Remember, returns only apply to items returned in the original packaging. If an item is returned in non-original or damaged packaging, the customer may be responsible for any return shipping costs. In addition, freight shipping is scheduled for pick-up at a specific date and time, which is agreed upon by the customer. and customers must be there at the scheduled time. Missing scheduled freight time will result in a dry run fee which is issued by the shipping company.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please make a note of it immediately when signing for delivery and send photos to support@bbqkitchenpros.com on the day of delivery.
Original Packaging Please keep all the original packaging for any items that need to be returned. Items that are not returned in their original packaging may not be accepted for return.
Non-Refundable Items that become damaged after use are non-refundable unless specified under warranty.

A. 30 Day Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. Items must be returned in new condition. You’ll also need a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

C. Damaged & Wrong Products & Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately within 24 hours if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. To return your product, you should contact our mail. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
D. Exchanges

E. No Re-stocking Fees
For our products, there is no Restocking Fee.
